DMD 2014 - Back from Segovia

Hello,

I'm back! Perhaps I'm not the first to be back home, but (I hope) the fastest: After 1.735 km (1.085 miles) in 19 hours to go and 9 hours to sleep I was back in my bunker.

It was again a wonderful meeting with more and more good friends.
Miguel, Raul and the whole spanish team made a nearly perfekt job! Tours (with and without lunch) and evening Dinners were wonderful experiences to learn something about the region, the poeple and the culture of our spanish friends.
They were enganged unto blood..:scared: ......hopefully the wounding will be healed very quick! :thumbup:

Yes, this DmD was very pleasant.
Thanks to Miguel and his team.
Everythings was good : the tours, the country side, weather, food and of course the atmosphere and friendship.

What a great DmD meeting! We had a fantastic time in a lovely part of a Spain. Thank you to Team Espana for such great organising and hosting. Special thanks to Miguel, Raoul and our tour leader Werner. We enjoyed Segovia very much and are spending a few days in the Picos Mountains before returning to Scotland.

Sun, wonderful landscape, history, food and nice roads, a good mix between sight seeing and riding the bike.
We hope we meet many of all in Belgium at Deauville meets Deauville.

Hello, greetings to all, this past week was my first biker concentration in DMD of Segovia, and I can only thank Miguel, Raul, Ian, their partners, and each and every one of the members of the organization that worked both for the concentration out perfect in every way, and we could all enjoy it. Un fuerte abrazo y enhorabuena.
También como no, gracias a todos los participantes por acogernos a los recién llegados y tratarnos como a uno más.

Hello everyone,

We arrived at home yesterday afternoon. After riding the whole 4400 km, we can only say this was a fantastic DMD meeting with very nice people. We definitely made some new friends.

Thanks to Miguel and the Spanish team :
- for the nice trips, each of them was very good with wonderful sights, nice villages, ...
- to let us experience the regional foods
- to Maria for translating so many languages
- and ofcourse the wonderful weather.

to all the DMD participants for the nice conversations and the friendly atmosphere.

Hope to see you all next year in Houffalize, Belgium.

So then, after an approximately 5200 km motorcycle trip of Muenster, through Switzerland, through the south of France, the Pyrenees, Spain's north east, crossing to Segovia in the region of Castile / Leon, then north to the coast, ferry from Gijon to St . Nazaire in Brittany, the Loire Valley, to Troyes, the Champagne, the Ardennes and the North-West Eifel I am back at home since yesterday in the middle of the afternoon.
Conclusion:
1) it has made a blast to have been traveling with lots of nice friends or even been together again :thumbup: :thumbup:
2) I need a new seat for the bike ... :rolleyes:

if it is not more...
It doesn't have to make all sense...

This was my first DMD and what a great time

Thanks to all the ES organisers for arranging great routes, and great food

I had a great round trip of around 5000kms returning via Picos de Europa, then further NW to near Gijon, back to the Southern Pyrenees, Central France then home (Luxembourg)

Was great to meet so many lovely people, here's to Belgium next year.

To those of you still on the road - I am back to work tomorrow (should have been today, but I slept ) You lucky people - enjoy the rest of your trips.

We Italians arrived back last Tuesday!
This DMD in Spain was perfetto.Tanti real compliments to the organizers.
